This week, every primary and secondary school or academy will be updating pupils’ records. They will once again have to record nationality and country of birth for all children. While the government now says this information would not be shared with the Home Office, this was their original plan. As Schools ABC reminds us, Thursday may be the last day parents and carers can retract this information if they have already shared it. You can exercise your right to retract personal data by using this form.
